New research results with contribution from NGP Polymers are being published!

We are very happy that further results from our collaboration with our partners—FSU Jena, the University of Würzburg, and BAYER—as part of the BASE Lipid Project are being published. For this project, NGP Polymers provided several polyoxazoline-based lipids for different formulation tests of lipid nanoparticles (LNPs) in comparison to conventional PEG-LNPs.

During the course of the project, we were able to significantly improve the manufacturing and analytical testing of our products. Our polyoxazoline lipids therefore not only exhibit properties similar to those of PEG lipids—without being recognized by the immune system—and are easily derivatizable for a broad range of applications, but they also stand out due to their high purity, comparable to that of PEG for pharmaceutical applications, and the detailed characterization of their remaining impurities.
